If you’ve just purchased a new piece of digital artwork for your Samsung Frame TV, congratulations--you’re about to transform your living space in a few minutes, and without putting more holes in the wall! If you purchased it from The Mulberry Home Gallery, thank you!
Buying the art was easy, but how exactly do you get those images onto your TV once they're downloaded? Don’t worry, it’s super simple, too! In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process through to displaying them on your Frame TV using your Phone or Tablet! We'll break down the steps with images to make it easier!
How to Upload Artwork to Your Frame TV:
- Download Your Art Onto Your Smart Phone or Tablet
- Turn on Your Frame TV and Open The SmartThings App
- Select Your Frame TV From Devices and Enter Art Mode
- Give SmartThings Permission to View Your Photos
- Select Photos to Add to The Frame TV and Create Mat
- Set Your Mat Preferences
Step 1: Download Your Art Onto Your Phone or Tablet
Save your new artwork onto your Phone or Tablet, as this is where SmartThings will access your content.
Tip: Save your artwork in a folder on your phone called "Frame TV" or "Frame TV Art" to keep track of them better. If anything ever happens, you'll be able to access all of your art quickly in one place!

Click on Devices in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, and then click on your Frame TV.
Note: If your SmartThings app shows that the Frame TV is offline, ensure the TV is turned on before you work through these steps.
Click Select More Photos, find the photos you want to add to The Frame, and press Done in the top right corner.

Uploading one image at a time:
Tap on the image you want to share to the SmartThings app, then click the Done button in the top right corner. Once the image is shared with the app, you will need to select the image again and click the Create Mat button on the bottom of the app screen.

Uploading multiple images:
Tap on the images you want to save to The Frame TV, then click the Save on The Frame button. Once the images load, select the one you want to display, then click Mat and save.

Click the mat button to select the style of mat from No Mat, Modern Mat, or Shadowbox Mat (We prefer No Mat for full-screen artwork!). Once selected, select Save to set your mat preferences for future use, or Set on the Frame TV to set your artwork immediately.
